The 316L Collection stainless steel jewelry pieces were inspired by the architecture of the Chrysler Building in Manhattan and in particular its spire, which made the building the tallest skyscraper in the world in 1930. The same material as the tower’s spire was used for the collection: 316L steel, which makes the jewelry highly corrosion resistant and enhances its shine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

For each piece there are over 100 cables interwoven, which creates a color play and greater resistance to strain. 316L COLLECTION: THE INSPIRATION<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The story of the Chrysler Building in Manhattan goes back to the early days of Walter Percy Chrysler’s fortunes, as he rose from being an apprentice machinist at the Union Pacific Railroad to becoming one of the most famous automobile manufacturers in the world.
Chrysler dreamed of a building that was not only the headquarters of his company, but also a symbol of the city. Therefore, he initiated the design and construction of the highest building in the city and in the world.
Designed by William Van Alen, a former graduate of the \u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, the building is an exemplar of Art Deco architecture, with a 316L steel spire that, with its three-arched bay windows and triangular windows, was reminiscent of the radiators of cars of the time.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
